IN THE FACE OF MAJOR CONTEMPORARY CHALLENGES, A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY

A COMPANY WITH A MISSION

Huglo Lepage Avocats has become a company with a mission after adopting its raison d’être and having its articles of association amended in 2021.

The firm has implemented a CSR policy

DEONTOLOGY AND ETHICS

For 40 years, ethical values have been the basis of Huglo Lepage Avocats. These are not only the deontological values that should be imposed on every lawyer in his professional practice, with respect to his clients, his colleagues and his Order. Above all, it is about the lawyer’s sense of responsibility and the law with regard to the major contemporary challenges, from governance and therefore public law, to the environment and human health. The evolution of the world demonstrates the major role that the law can play in favour of the general interest or, on the contrary, against it, whether it is a question of corruption, assistance with pollution, or even legal arrangements at the limit of legality.

SUPPORTING THOSE WHO ARE COMMITTED TO THE ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION

In renewing itself, Huglo Lepage Avocats wants to affirm its choice to assist and advise in favour of the protection of the environment, the preservation of human health, resources and human well-being. We therefore wish to provide companies that choose improvement, progress and the path of ecological transition with all the assistance they may need. This is why Huglo Lepage Avocats is actively involved in the development of the New Economy Entrepreneurs’ Movement, which promotes a connected, territorialized economy that is neither fossil nor fissile and that serves the well-being of people.

ACTING IN THE GENERAL INTEREST

Initiator of public law in the legal profession, author of the Lexis Nexis Code of Administrative Justice, the firm wants to offer all actors the possibilities offered today by public law and in particular public business law to act in the sense of defending the general interest and the long term. As a designer of major environmental lawsuits, Huglo-Lepage wants to provide all victims of natural and industrial disasters who call upon its services with all the legal and psychological support that this type of case generates and all the legal and financial engineering that these long-lasting lawsuits require. The firm rejects any form of conflict of interest, which is an enemy of the trust our clients place in us.
