Christian Huglo has devoted his career as a lawyer and teacher to bringing environmental law into all sectors of public life and the economy, both nationally and internationally. After a spell at the European Commission of Human Rights in Strasbourg, Christian Huglo founded the law firm that bears his name on 1 January 1969, which quickly specialised in public law and environmental law cases, before joining forces with Corinne Lepage in 1978 to found Huglo-Lepage Avocats. Christian Huglo specialises in litigation, particularly in international pollution and environmental cases and legal expertise: the Amoco Cadiz case and the Chicago trial (1978-1992), the Erika, Levoli Sun and Prestige cases, international pollution cases in the Mediterranean, the Rhine, the Bay of Seine, the Moselle, etc. Specialising in corporate strategy in the environmental field, Christian Huglo also advises his clients on their operations in the environmental field.
